Pesto Genovese is perfect with any kind of pasta and especially with Ligurian specialities as trofie and testaroli. Never tried them yet? Come and visit us at the shop to find out more. In summer, use Pesto Genovese to stuff cherry tomatoes for a delicious appetizer. Mixed with ricotta cheese or béchamel, Pesto is also the filling of a wonderfully unusual Lasagna. In Liguria, a teaspoon of Pesto is tradionally added to a bowl of good vegetables minestrone soup, but why not using it also with the leek and potato soup or with a cream of zucchini soup? A twist of basil is always welcome.
