The Pinot Noir grapes for this wine come from the Hemberg estate of Campodazzo at the beginning of Valle Isarco. The steep terraced plants spoiled by the sun and the substantial gravelly silt soil at 400 - 600 m altitude give the wine its intense and unmistakable aroma.
