Altitude: 500 mt. s.l.m.
Ground: white calcareous rock, pink ferrous calcareous rock, basaltic rock containing minerals olivine and pyroxene (20% silicon, fe, al, mg, ca, etc, age50 mil. of years ago).
Type of grapes: Corvina 35%, Rondinella 20%, Corvinone 35%, other grapes 10% (oseleta and croatina).
Breeding: Guyot
Density: 5000 vinestock ha.
The grapes are harvested in middle September early October.
This wine is vinified in January after 4 months of withering. (90/100 days minimum)
The aging is in barriques of French oak of first passage for 36 months and 36 months minimum in the bottle.

Description:
The bouquet is intense, complex, fine, fruity, mineral and spicy with frank notes of dried plums, chestnut and cherries in alcohol.
In the mouth it is dry, warm, soft, fresh and tasty, tannic, balanced, persistent, fine, vigorous and ready for consumption.
Colour: Ruby red, crystal clear and consistent.
Dishes: red meat, steaks, game.
It is best to serve this wine at a temperature from 18° - 20° and to open the bottle two or three hours before.
